Hannah Smith (COIN)
Hannah Smith is Defending Rights Project Manager at Climate Outreach and Information Network (COIN). Hannah manages COIN’s work with the refugee and human rights sector.

She coordinates the UK Climate Change and Migration Coalition (UKCCMC) and works with refugees and migrants on climate change issues. Hannah has an L.L.B. from Edinburgh University with honors in Environmental, Public International Law and International Legal Order of the Environment and World Economy. She also holds an MSc in Environment and Resource Management.
Hannah has spent a number of years overseas, working in various capacities in international development for organisations based in Sri Lanka, Swaziland and Cambodia. She is lead author of Forced Migration and Climate Change: The challenge for UK Refugee and Environmental NGOs.
